What we do
From a single Manual J to a full mechanical permit package, done by ACCA-certified designers who answer their own phone.
Residential heating and cooling loads
Right-sized equipment, on paper first
Every room gets the air it needs
Light-commercial load calculations
Registers and grilles, placed on purpose
Variable refrigerant flow, zone by zone
Energy code compliance for your permit
The whole mechanical package
Manual Q, equipment schedules, second-opinion reviews and design drafting.
How it works
No software to learn and no portal to fight. Email and a phone number that gets answered.
A dimensioned floor plan is enough to start. Elevations and wall sections help. No plans? A sketch and photos work.
We reply fast, usually within 30 minutes during business hours, and send a short questionnaire for the details.
ACCA-certified designers run the calculations and ask questions when something on the plans does not add up.
You receive clear, permit-ready reports by email. If the reviewer has questions, we answer them.
What you receive
Clean, complete and formatted for review. Your installer gets numbers they can build to.
Who we serve
Most of our work comes from contractors and builders who send us plans every month.
We had a new residential build about 3900 sq’. We called several places and nobody got back to us. Our first call to them they picked up, I explained the situation, they sent me the questionnaire and were quick to help us walk through the entire form patiently. Once we had all the info filled out they had the Manual J back to us within a day.
I was in a bind and contacted LoadCalcs.net on Saturday to complete HVAC load calculations that I needed on Monday morning for a project in Washington DC. They did a wonderful job and worked through the tough DC guidelines.
Fast response time and easy to work with. Reports are professional and our building inspector issued our permits shortly after receiving the reports.
LoadCalcs did great on load calculation for us. They selected ERV, Dehumidifier and HVAC equipment and designed the duct system. Great service!
This is an outstanding company to work with. We have several Manual J, D, S done by this company on a monthly basis. Always responsive and hit deadlines. Not to mention their work is top shelf. I will use them for all my future load needs.

Scott did an excellent job doing a Manual J for my home. He was flexible with my custom home and requirements. I also felt like he took extra time to communicate and clarify anything that I had questions about. I consider this company an excellent value.
