Scott Pingleton started LoadCalcs in 2017 after more than 25 years in the engineering field. Today it is a family team with ACCA-certified designers, serving clients in all 50 states from Lancaster, Kentucky.
Why we exist
More building departments every year require load calculations, energy calculations and duct designs before they will issue a permit. Most contractors do not want a design department on payroll, and most homeowners do not know the rule of thumb their quote was based on.
We fill that gap. We match each project with the designer best suited to it, answer inquiries fast, and turn plans into documents that help permits issue and help installers build systems that work.
How we work
- Every designer is based in the United States. We never outsource overseas.
- We aim to respond to inquiries within 30 minutes and quote the same day.
- We do not sell or install equipment, so we have no reason to upsize.
- All work follows ACCA standards: Manuals J, S, D, N, T and Q.
