Metro: an HVAC/mechanical permit is required to 'erect, install, enlarge, alter, repair, remove, convert or replace any mechanical system' regulated by the KBC/KRC, and the HVAC contractor must obtain a Louisville Metro HVAC permit before new installation or replacement work.
